It has been active since 2016: the Cologne corporate alliance MIT FRAUEN IN FÜHRUNG. The management of Cologne’s top companies have committed themselves to actively promoting gender equality in their companies.
Represented in the alliance are, for example: REWE, DuMont, Kreissparkasse Köln, Sparkasse KölnBonn, WDR, Kliniken Köln, Jobcenter, City of Cologne and of course Ströer.
Within the framework of the alliance, the exchange of experience and networking between the participating companies as well as joint projects on the topic of women’s advancement are at the forefront.
The alliance also offers a cross mentoring programme for women. Together with a mentor – each from a different company – the career is planned and the next step is prepared.

Since 2019, Ströer has been a member of the cross-mentoring programme Initiative Women into Leadership (IWiL). Ströer is actively involved in supporting and accompanying women on their way #upwards. Our mentees become part of an exclusive network of personalities from science, society and business, which focuses on a broad exchange of experiences. The cross-mentoring programme offers our mentees inspiring workshops and networking sessions in addition to regular sparring with a personal mentor.
For the Ströer Group, socio-political responsibility is a central component of entrepreneurial activity. Since its foundation, the company has supported numerous social projects and brought these causes to the attention of the general public.
The thematic focus is on the areas of children and youth as well as culture.
